Bio

Brian is the President of Future Bridge Consulting Services, LLC and lives in Marietta, GA.  He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Institute of Paper Science and Technology (IPST).  Brian is a TAPPI Fellow, and is the recipient of the 2019 Pulp Manufacturing Division Distinguished Service Award & Joseph K. Perkins Prize and the 2023 Herman L. Joachim Distinguished Service Award.

Dr. Brogdon has presented over 60 conference papers, published over 30 papers in refereed journals, and written several textbook chapters related to pulping, bleaching, wood chemistry, and papermaking additives.  He currently serves on the TAPPI Journal Technical Editorial Board and has served in the past as its Editor-in-Chief.
