In this talk Tiffany Abitbol described hybrid materials prepared from cellulose fibers and fungal mycelium, including proposed applications in packaging. Tiffany presented an overview of the state of the art of myco-materials as well as some of the results and perspectives.The focus is on submerged fermentation, but aspects of solid fermentation were discussed as well.
