This committee of the Coating and Graphic Arts Division was created to develop knowledge related to the properties, use and testing of coating raw materials, individually and in formulations, including additives, binders, and pigments.

The purpose of this committee is to study, educate, and evaluate coating preparation, handling, processing, control, and application during the manufacture of coated paper and paperboard.

Runnability Planning Committee  

The Runnability Planning Committee develops and executes the Runnability 5K Run/Walk each year at TAPPI PaperCon/TAPPICon. Our objective is to provide fitness and fun for conference attendees while raising scholarship funds for future paper industry professionals. Members of the planning committee have an interest in fitness and fundraising, put "sweat equity" into the event, and generally can obtain approval to participate in PaperCon/TAPPICon on an annual basis.
