Jeff has a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He started his career with Hercules and spent 23 years in a variety of positions; field sales, applications and business management. Jeff has published several tissue related papers and has a patent related to developing strength in tissue. He left the paper industry for a few years to test his entrepreneurial spirit and decided to come back to the Tissue industry in 2009 with BTG to start up their tissue applications group.
Jeff is actively involved with TAPPI. He is currently Co-chairman of the Tissue 201 training course, Trainer for Tissue 101, part of the TAPPI Tissue University training development team and on the TAPPI Tissue2017 program team. He is past Co-chairman of the Yankee Dryer Safety and Reliability Committee.
Jeff loves to waterski, fish and hunt. He is happily married, 34 years, has two boys (married) and 7 grandchildren (4 girls and 3 boys). Jeff resides on a lake in Vicksburg (Kalamazoo), MI.
