I studied Biological Engineering in Mexico City's Autonomous Metropolitan University with terminal line in biomaterials/biomedical applications. I then pursued a Masters in Natural Science and Engineering with work focusing in surfaces interactions of Nanoparticles with different biopolymers. Currently I am doing my PhD in Forestry working in generating bio-based materials for environmental applications.
I am the co-vicechair of the TAPPI Nano Student Committee, were we are working to improve the interactions of early career researchers and the successful professionals on the field.
