Tony Manfred is a Technical Specialist, Consumer Products Group. He has worked at FPlnnovations since 1986. His past work included on-site examinations for print quality and press runnability in both newspaper and commercial pressrooms. He has provided training in print quality testing at mill sites with an expertise in print quality related to paper and board surfaces. He has worked on the development of FPlnnovations’ Linting and Piling Tester.
He was the past chairman of the Printing and Graphic Arts Committee (CPPA) 2000-2001. He manages the Print Quality Services in the Pulp and Paper and Consumer Products Group.
Recent work included the development of tests for bath tissue and paper towel strength specifically surface strength.
