Hi, I'm Holly!
I'm a freshman student at Western Michigan University studying Paper and Chemical Engineering. Although this is only my first year, I'm very passionate about sustainability, innovation, and learning more about the diverse applications paper holds for the future of our planet and industry. I hope to someday work for a carbon neutral or carbon negative company. Lately I've been fascinated with nanofiber and its wide array of uses, and I started doing independent research on it.
While mainly focusing on my college career, my gaze is always ahead and looking beyond the horizon for possibilities and opportunities. I already have a co-op lined up for this summer-December, but I'm still looking out for the following summer's internship.
During my down time, you can find me adding personality to my jackets, working on a mural, practicing spot welding, or petting a cat.
