Water Drip Hole

Definition:
A hole in the sheet, usually seen on a Pressure Former, or Fourdrinier caused by water dripping on the sheet. Telling signs of the one shown in the picture are the crater like border indicating the sheet was already formed, and in the example shown in the picture, the rust colored discoloration around the edge. This water drop hole originated from condensate on the machine room ceiling dripping onto the machine.
