  • Mentors Needed!

The Women in Industry Division is currently seeking mentors to participate in the Division's pilot mentoring program.

Mentors will be paired up with young women currently pursuing degrees related to paper science and engineering.

Once matched, mentors and mentees would be expected to make contact once a month via an agreed mode of communication (email, phone call, etc.), and preferably 2 points of contact during the "high-stress" points in the academic year. Mentors are NOT expected to evaluate a mentee's academic work, but rather help the mentee find resources to receive objective evaluations and feedback.

If you would like to inspire the next generation of female engineers and contributors to the pulp, paper, and forest products industries please email Emma Ragauskas.
