Congratulations to NCSU junior @Matthew Klassa for being named as the 2020 recipient of the William L. Cullison Scholarship, TAPPI’s top scholarship.
He is a dual degree student, majoring in Paper Science and Engineering and Chemical Engineering with a minor in Cross-Disciplinary Leadership Studies. Matthew gained work experience in the industry with Domtar Paper at their Plymouth, NC facility and interned with International Paper in Newport, Ind. He is also a proud member of the NC State TAPPI student chapter, and serves as the chapter’s Programs Chair, handling company dinners and panels.
In addition to the Cullison Scholarship, Matthew was also awarded scholarships from TAPPI’s Corrugated Division’s Suppliers Advisory Committee, the Engineering Division and the Paper and Board Division.
