This webinar explores why equipment installed in paper mills to generate data that gets left idle after a few years because the person who championed the project has retired or moved on. Losing access to this data slows down the process of how our industry can best use data to improve operations and move us closer to the Industry 4.0 “mill of the future” vision which is a goal shared by all participants in the industry. We will explore the reasons for this abnormality, analyze its causes and prescribe ways that will reduce this occurrence.
