Rachel is a senior at the University of Washington working towards a Bachelor’s of Science in bioresource science and engineering. She has worked as a summer student in the NORPAC Lab, working on brightness meters and the pulp calibration machine. TAPPI is proud to announce Brandon Sanchez is a winner of the 2021 Process Control Division scholarship! Brandon is completing his junior year at North Carolina State University this spring. He is majoring in both paper science engineering and chemical engineering. Dust Mitigation Committee (DMC) - Co-Chair & Co-Secretary The purpose of the DMC is to assemble expertise from the industry (40 members now) to discuss and make recommendations about mitigating dust and the associated fires that may result. Each position is a 2-year opening but that can change if passion is high to remain engaged longer or if job demands dictate that a person needs to step away early.
