The TAPPI Kraft Recovery Course is a comprehensive review of the important recovery operations in kraft pulp mills with the objective of helping improve pulp production efficiency, minimize operating costs and reduce environmental impact.

You will learn the chemistry, physics and engineering principles related to kraft recovery.

This successful balanced curriculum has been continually peer-reviewed, updated and delivered effectively for 32 years.

The Kraft Recovery Faculty of internationally recognized experts will provide practical day-to-day information through presentations, Q&A sessions, homework, team-based training exercises and networking.

  • Identify causes and solutions for recausticizing problems
  • Describe lime returning principles and devise a means to improve kiln performance
  • Identify causes and solutions for recovery boiler problems
  • List the main causes of corrosion in recovery boilers and ways to minimize them

Earn 2.6 CEUs
TAPPI is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).  TAPPI complies with the ANSI/IACET Standard, which is recognized internationally as a standard of excellence in instructional practices. As a result of this accreditation, TAPPI is authorized to issue the IACET CEU.

TAPPI will issue 2.6 CEUs to participants who attend at least 80 percent of the educational sessions and complete a final program evaluation.
